A Little Bit About

Sir Sheep is a creative brand composed of hand-illustrated and hand thrown ceramics founded by Sisi Recht in Brooklyn, New York.

Each piece focuses on intersectionality and female forms by combining fluid, inconsistent shapes with rich textures. I create stories for each character, break apart their fictional narrative and rebuild using disjointed limbs and bright colors. Everything is captured in the spontaneous, treasuring the imperfect. 

All prints are made locally by Shoestring Press in Brooklyn, New York. All ceramics are made at BKLYN Clay.
